Ahead of an imminent local showroom entry, Australian pricing and specifications for the 2025 Skoda Karoq range have been announced. Priced from $40,990 drive away – or $1,000 more than last year – the revised Karoq features more standard equipment across the range, while the entry-level Karoq Select and mid-spec Karoq Sportline 4×2 are both new to the range, having replaced the former Karoq and Karoq Style. The top-spec Sportline 4×4 has had most of its previously-optional kit fitted as standard.
Skoda Australia product manager Glenn Reid said the updated Karoq continued Skoda’s clear strategy of providing increased value and new model grades focused on customer preferences.
“Skoda is introducing the Karoq Select as a signpost for maximum value, while the new Karoq Sportline 4×2 combines Australian customer preference for sports model grades with over $5,000 of additional value compared with the Karoq Style it replaces,” Mr Reid said.
Highlights of the 2025 Skoda Karoq range include a newly-renamed Karoq Style base model, which has added driver fatigue monitoring and metallic paint over the former base model, while the mid-spec Karoq Style has been upgraded to a Sportline with sporty exterior and interior styling and more features for only $1,400 more than the Style at $46,990 drive away. The top-spec Sportline 4×4 continues with more standard equipment – Skoda Australia claims $7,200 more equipment for $5,300 more – at $57,990.
Otherwise, the 2025 Skoda Karoq range is unchanged. The 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine using an eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission to send power to the front wheels continues in the Select and new Sportline 4×2, while the larger 140kW/320Nm 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive remains only available in the Sportline 4×4.
