The 2025 Skoda Kamiq has been launched in Australia armed with value, design and technological upgrades aimed at keeping it competitive in the small SUV segment. Priced from $33,990 drive away, the mid-life update for the Kamiq starts at $1,000 more than the Kamiq Run-Out model it replaces, but includes more standard equipment and is better value overall. The updated Kamiq is on sale now and will hit local Skoda showrooms soon.
Skoda Australia head of product and marketing Kieran Merrigan said the upgrade Kamiq delivers the perfect balance of value and versatility.
“Skoda is offering the Kamiq Select as an incredibly roomy high-value star in the compact SUV class, while the Kamiq Monte Carlo with adaptive suspension and 250Nm turbocharged power adds segment-busting driver enjoyment with loaded specification,” Mr Merrigan said.
As we discovered when the Kamiq facelift was revealed earlier this year, the 2025 Skoda Kamiq has received subtle exterior styling changes with new front and rear lighting units, wheels and bumpers. The interior has also received subtle changes like new trims and a new digital driver’s display.
Skoda has also reshuffled the lineup – the former Run-Out, Style and Signature models have been replaced by a base Select and top-spec Monte Carlo with a Signature Package for the Select sitting in the middle. The Select continues with the 85kW/200Nm ’85TSI’ 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine from before, while the Monte Carlo uses a larger 110kW/250Nm ‘110TSI’ 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine. Both use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission sending power to the front wheels.
