Ahead of imminent local arrivals, Australian pricing and specifications for the facelifted Skoda Octavia Select have been announced.
Priced from $41,490 drive away – or $1,000 less than the pre-updated Octavia Style it replaces – the Octavia Select also includes new standard equipment like adaptive lane guidance, stop and go functionality for the adaptive cruise control and a larger central touchscreen.
Skoda Australia head of product and marketing Kieran Merrigan said the Octavia sedan and wagon line-up continues to be the pick for discerning family or touring car customers.
“As one of our most recognised and established nameplates, the Skoda Octavia sedan and wagon continue to go from strength to strength with more technology and greater value all combined with benchmark drivability and dynamics,” Mr Merrigan said.
As we discovered in our Octavia facelift news article from February, the facelifted Octavia range includes new alloy wheel designs, new front and rear styling with new lighting units, and updated interiors with larger touchscreens and new interior trims. Australian specifications for the new entry-level Select – which replaces the former Style in the pre-updated model – have been announced with new features like a larger touchscreen, an upgraded wireless phone charger and more safety features like adaptive lane guidance, stop and go functionality for the adaptive cruise control and emergency assist.
Under the bonnet of the Octavia Select remains unchanged with a 110kW/250Nm 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine with an eight-speed automatic transmission standard. In the first quarter of 2025, the upper-spec Sportline and RS will join the range, with specifications for those models to be announced.
