The refreshed 2025 Genesis GV70 mid-size premium SUV has officially landed in Australia, bringing with it updated in-car technology, revised trim levels, and sadly, a notable price hike across the board. Prices now range from $78,500 to $100,000 before on-road costs, reflecting increases of between $5,600 and $15,986 depending on the variant.

One of the most significant changes is the removal of the entry-level rear-wheel-drive GV70 2.5, which was previously priced from $70,500. In its place, Genesis has streamlined the lineup to three all-wheel-drive-only variants: Advanced, Signature, and Signature Sport. These trims are offered with a choice of two engines and paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission as standard.

Pricing and Specs

The entry-level Advanced 2.5T AWD starts at $78,500 (plus on-road costs), marking a $5,600 increase over the previous AWD model. Powering this variant is the same 224kW/442Nm 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine as before.

These include a 27-inch widescreen OLED infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster that brings a futuristic touch to the cabin. Also new for 2025 are wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a head-up display, further enhancing the tech experience for buyers.

Under the skin, the 2025 GV70 benefits from a host of suspension and chassis refinements aimed at improving ride quality and reducing noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) for a quieter and more refined driving experience.
