Revealed earlier in the year, the 2022 Genesis G70 Shooting Brake has gone on sale in Australia. To be available in a single high-spec variant for now, the G70 Shooting Brake adds a new wagon option to the premium mid-size segment – one that has suffered a lot of wagon deaths, including the imminent discontinuation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class wagon. Based on the G70 sedan, the Shooting Brake is on sale in Australia now priced from $79,000 plus on-road costs – only $2,000 more than the sedan – to join the new GV70 in the Genesis stable.
“G70 Shooting Brake brings new allure to the G70 model line with its classic coupe-wagon styling, superb performance and an array of safety and convenience technology,” Genesis Motors Australia Chief Executive Officer, Jun Heo said.
