Suzuki has launched the heavily updated its S-Cross SUV, with the 2023 Suzuki S-Cross now on sale. Using the same platform and body as the previous model but with a new interior, new features and a new model lineup, the S-Cross is being touted as an all-new model by Suzuki. The facelifted model finally introduces important safety equipment to the S-Cross, like auto emergency braking (AEB).
Suzuki Australia General Manager – Automobile, Mr. Michael Pachota said the introduction of the new S-Cross is influential for Suzuki’s continued growth in the SUV market.
“I am extremely excited to launch our flagship model – the S-Cross. This model is yet another stepping stone for Suzuki Australia to continue to increase our strong presence in the growing SUV market.”
On the outside of the 2023 Suzuki S-Cross is a new look, with new front and rear ends, new alloy wheels and new lighting signatures. The interior has received a new look as well, with new 7.0-inch (base) and 9.0-inch (top-spec Prestige) touchscreen infotainment systems and new materials throughout.
Standard equipment on the 2023 Suzuki S-Cross Allgrip includes 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic LED headlights with front fog lights, roof rails, heated and electric-folding mirrors, keyless entry and start, rear privacy glass, dual-zone climate control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gearknob, a 7.0-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, satellite navigation, digital radio, a six-speaker sound system, heated front seats and front and rear arm rests.
Safety kit includes six airbags, auto emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning with weaving alert, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, front and rear parking sensors and a reversing camera.
The upper-spec S-Cross Allgrip Prestige adds part-leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, a larger 9.0-inch touchscreen with a 360-degree parking camera, wireless Apple CarPlay and polished 17-inch alloy wheels.
Available colours for the 2023 Suzuki S-Cross range include ‘Cool White Pearl’, ‘Energetic Red’, ‘Silky Silver’, ‘Cosmic Black’, ‘Titan Grey’ and ‘Sphere Blue’. Black is the only interior colour option.
