Ahead of the first deliveries that are due to commence later this month, the Australian pricing for the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E has been reduced by up to $7,000. Now priced from $72,990 plus on-road costs, the new pricing allows the Mach-E to be priced below the luxury car tax (LCT) threshold in mid-spec Premium spec, which offers a claimed 600km of range on the WLTP cycle. With its new price point, the Mach-E will better compete with cars like the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Tesla Model Y.
“This price reduction is a major positive for our customers and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the best products and great value to our customers. As the EV market continues to evolve, we are responding to it,” said Andrew Birkic, Ford Australia President and CEO.
