Australian pricing and specifications for the 2024 Honda Accord have been revealed ahead of its imminent arrival into local Honda showrooms. Priced from $64,900 drive away, the new-generation Accord is more advanced and better equipped than the Accord it replaces – though it is $3,000 more expensive than the previous-generation Accord hybrid.

“The Honda Accord has a rich history in the Australian market as a sophisticated, luxurious flagship model which has been a customer favourite since its arrival in 1977”, said Honda Australia Director Ms. Carolyn McMahon.

“This new model offers the premium feel that Accord is renowned for, coupled with additional technological advancements, including the arrival of Google built-in and the next generation of Honda Connect.

Measuring 4,975mm long, 1,862mm wide, 1,449mm high and riding on a 2,830mm long wheelbase, the new Accord is 71mm longer, the same width, 1mm less tall and on an identical wheelbase to the previous model. Its 570-litre boot is identical in size to the last model, and 46L larger than the last-generation Toyota Camry.

Under the bonnet of the 2024 Honda Accord is the same 2.0-litre four-cylinder hybrid drivetrain that’s also used in the CR-V mid-size SUV. Making 152kW of total system power, the Accord is rated at just 4.3L/100km for combined fuel consumption – 0.2L/100km less than the current-generation Camry – and 98g/km for CO2. Unlike the previous Accord, this generation will only be available as a hybrid locally, with the former 140kW 1.5L turbo engine culled.
