Unveiled yesterday at the annual Subinats owners’ festival in Sydney, the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS has been confirmed for Australian sales. Set to debut locally in 2024 – specific timing is yet to be confirmed – the tS variant of the BRZ adds a number of features aimed at increasing the BRZ’s already sharp handling ability, as well as new cosmetic features for extra stylistic differentiation from the regular model.
Blair Read, Managing Director at Subaru Australia, expressed his excitement about the arrival of the tS variant, stating, “The BRZ is a fantastic all-round package and the Subaru engineers have now gone one step further with the tS variants handling, performance and design. The engineering attention to detail is what makes the BRZ the complete drivers package.”
Over the regular BRZ, the 2024 Subaru BRZ tS adds:
- STI-tuned suspension
- Brembo front and rear brakes
- Dark grey 18-inch alloy wheels
- Front and rear tS badging
- Red BRZ logo integrated into the headlights
- Black door mirrors and shark fin antenna
- Maroon and black suede and leather-accented interior with STI-embossed front seats,
- STI red push start button
- Instrument cluster with STI logo and maroon highlights
In addition to that, all 2024 model year BRZ manual variants will finally add features like automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keep assist and reverse automatic braking, which will match the safety equipment that’s already standard on the six-speed automatic BRZ.
