Like the Ranger on which it’s based, Ford has revealed a new Tremor model in the Everest large SUV lineup, with local deliveries due in November. Priced from $76,590 plus on-road costs, the Tremor is based on the Everest Sport V6 but adds new features, including unique exterior styling, a unique ‘Command Grey’ paint option, off-road tyres and upgraded suspension for heavier off-road use.

“The Everest Tremor answers the call from passionate adventurers who demand even more capability and ruggedness from their SUVs,” said Ambrose Henderson, Marketing Director, Ford Australia.

“With its unique combination of off-road effectiveness, towing capacity, and premium features, the Everest Tremor is ready to tackle any adventure, on or off Australia’s various terrains.”

Based on the second-from-top Sport, the Ford Everest Tremor adds new off-road equipment for those wanting to use their Everest further off the beaten track. The Tremor exterior transformation includes new Bilstein dampers and new springs for a 26mm lift compared to other Everest models, General Grabber AT3 tyres (which offer 30mm more width clearance than the regular Everest), wheel arch mouldings, a black honeycomb grille with auxiliary LED lamps, a steel bash plate, heavy-duty side steps, orange Tremor badging and black details.

Ford has also added a new ‘rock crawl’ mode for the off-road system. Inside, the Everest Tremor’s transformation is limited to Tremor-embossed seats, ebony-coloured accents and all-weather floor mats.
